No.1 Hits

I love having a group of British friends to learn about the culture here. For example, last night we listened to a bunch of previous No. 1 hits on the British charts, and this was one: "The Cheeky Girls." (Apparently the Bob the Builder theme song hit number 1 at one point as well...) It's so funny to see them get excited, reminisce, and sing along with their accents to these terrible songs. But from what they have showed me, British entertainment seems really low budget, something very different from America. Here is another example of kids TV, Postman Pat...so cute:

ALSO! I spotted/petted Batman for the first time last night! There are two cats, Batman and Robin, who wander the building here. You are allowed to pick them up and take them back to your room to chill with you too! Batman looked really tired and comfortable though on the couch of reception, so I let him be.
