Today I had my class called Art and Society. It's an immersion class where we listen to a lecture for the first half and then explore the city's museums and galleries for the second. We had a fun night yesterday, so I wasn't exactly well rested this morning. Nevertheless I made it to central for 9am (a feat on its own, seriously). We went to the TATE Modern, which was incredibly cool because there were a bunch of works I had recently learned about back in Chicago. That's always an exciting feeling, to already know everything the teacher is talking about when she describes a work. We only stayed together as a class for about an hour and a half though. Afterward I looked around the museum myself, found a leather couch, and fell asleep for two hours. It was fantastic.

After I woke up from my slumber it was time to meet up with the one and only Anya (Egg) Jaskiw. I really couldn't be happier she is here in London. Egg always provides some good laughs and is a great person to talk to. We dined in Chinatown, which was pathetically small compared to the Chinatowns I am used to. Either way, great end to a great (but long) day.
ALSO--This was the first day I carried around my good camera. Gotta start doing that more often.
