Harrow as a Haven

I am so happy to be living at Harrow. Initially I was worried about my surroundings, but with central London a short tube ride away, I've realized its equally about what goes on in here as apposed to out there.  Basically, all the students that live here study art. I did not know until talking to my British friends that the art department at University of Westminster is very well renown and difficult to get into. Their facilities are top of the line, with labs open 24 hours. If you have an ID card you are also invited to check out any equipment including SLRs, different lenses, HD cameras, and more. It is also so great to hang out with people who have the same interests as you. I've more or less decided to devote my life to some aspect of art, and these people have decided to do the same. Its a common bond of creativity and expression, and to me it is so comforting. In my eyes, this is my second opportunity to go to art school, the first of which I turned down three years ago. Its a second chance and i'm going to make it count.
